Arizona Matsuri

February 28, 2012 § 1 Comment

First of all, thank you for the Arizona Matsuri for giving me an opportunity to show my artwork in their festival. It was such an amazing experience for me to meet thousands of people and have them enjoy my work. It was very flattering for me to have everyone taking pictures of my cranes and seeing my personal experience in Japan after the earthquake/tsunami through my photographs.
I couldn’t have done it without all the people in my life, especially the people in Ishinomaki for giving me the inspiration, my parents, friends, teachers, and everyone I have talked to.
I hope through my thousand cranes, my wish of good health and recovery will come true for the people who were affected by the disaster.

Thank you again,

Airi.
